Eight more days!

Well, eight more days - this is sure tough waiting.
I want to see the new quilt that will be published in The Quilt Pattern Magazine August issue - http://www.quiltpatternmagazine.com but she has hidden it. I am having to find alternative places to take my nap. Sure would be nice on the new quilt!

Nine more days!!!

Well she won't let me see the quilt until August 1, so I will settle for this cold tile floor (actually it feels good because it is so hot!)

Oh no, there are dog pawprints all over this floor!!!  This is not good!!!

Purrfect Spots - 15 Year Anniversary Coming in August!

It is a rainy day here and what better thing to do than curl up with my stuffed dog and take a nap. I am watching my owner work on her website. She is going to have new patterns available on her site in August! She is also going to have a new quilt pattern published in The Quilt Pattern Magazine in August as well. Infact August is going to be a very busy month for her as it will be the 15th anniversary of Purrfect Spots and there will be lots of specials going on. Meanwhile I am going back to sleep!!!

Opportunity to make a new fangled Double Wedding Ring Quilt

I am very excited about the new workshop that is being featured in The Quilt Pattern Magazine this month.
It is being taught by Cheryl Coville and she promises to make this a very fun project. The workshop will run for six months and it is all about a new fangled double wedding ring quilt and just so you know, the cat is not included with the directions. She is the supervisor!!!
Check it out and join the fun. This is a great opportunity. All you need to do is subscribe to The Quilt Pattern Magazine. Not only will you get to take the workshop, but there are so many other wonderful patterns to make as well, plus very interesting articles. So don't wait - Subscribe Today!

What are your favorite types of handwork?

I love to quilt by hand. It is so relaxing for me. But I also like to do cross stitch as well. Somehow I find that I can find order in my life when I am stitching and it is a good feeling. This is one of my cross stitch pieces, but I have many more. This is one of my patterns, but I also like to stitch other designer's patterns and that I call my "fun" stitching. Not that my own designs are not fun, but I can't seem to get the designer out of me and am constantly questioning how I can make it better. So by doing other patterns that are not my own, I seem to give my brain a rest. I would love to hear your thoughts and comments, please!
