I like both - depends on the pattern and the look, appliqué is fabulous but the things that can be done with piecing are great too!
ReplyDeleteI prefer hand piecing ,thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteBoth are something I don't like using, prefer the piecing method. Have however done both, and will do so on occasion. Especially if I don't have a sewing machine available. (ie doctor's offices, waiting on appts, etc)
ReplyDeleteI love the colors in your Memphis Ribbon and Blues. I am new to applique and starting to get the hang of it. I would pick applique.
ReplyDeleteI love raw edge applique and I thread paint on the applique. Cute patterns! Love the food one! I am a new follower or Liked your facebook page! I am doing the Blog Hop too! Hop on over! Enjoy your day!

ReplyDeleteOk I really like Applique on a pieced block!! Really I do, but if I had to choose one or the other, I would most like choose Applique (cuz I can always piece the back :)
ReplyDeleteActually, I prefer to do both by machine! Call me a rebel if you will.
ReplyDeleteappique or hand piecing...I love both
ReplyDeleteI am an applique queen, find it very enjoyable to do. Thanks for giving me a chance!
ReplyDeleteMemphis is wonderful....love the pattern... and as for applique or hand piecing I mainly hand piece, but I am now getting more into applique so I like both
ReplyDeleteIf I'm sewing by hand, applique wins by spools and spools. If sewing by machine, piecing just barely inches out applique. Thanks for participating in the blog hop party. Quilted blessings, Nita
ReplyDeleteI'm brand new to quilting and haven't tried applique yet. I am finishing up my second quilt (when I'm not blog-hopping, lol)
