What are your favorite types of handwork?
I love to quilt by hand. It is so relaxing for me. But I also like to do cross stitch as well. Somehow I find that I can find order in my life when I am stitching and it is a good feeling. This is one of my cross stitch pieces, but I have many more. This is one of my patterns, but I also like to stitch other designer's patterns and that I call my "fun" stitching. Not that my own designs are not fun, but I can't seem to get the designer out of me and am constantly questioning how I can make it better. So by doing other patterns that are not my own, I seem to give my brain a rest. I would love to hear your thoughts and comments, please!

Home at last!
Well, he had the wonderful opportunity to spend a few days in a luxury kitty condo at the veterinarian while Mom & Dad left on a weekend trip. He was sad that he couldn't take "His" quilt with him, but now that he is home, he is able to enjoy it once more. And as you can see, he is thoroughly enjoying it. Stays at the Kitty Condo can be so exhausting with so many interesting things going on around him.
You can get the directions for "His" quilt, Hopscotch, by subscribing to The Quilt Pattern Magazine at http://www.quiltpatternmagazine.com and it is so reasonable. There is much information along with other lovely quilts, but he says none as pretty as "His" quilt!!! Check it out today!
